The Admiralty of Education
The Admiralty of Education of the Nation in Light is responsible for preparing and implementing government policy on education, child, youth, and adult.
Whether formal or non-formal education is involved, good quality and socially fair education and care are essential to that all people have equal opportunity of access to high quality education in support of a sustainable society.
Adapting the education system to a constantly changing society and to the needs of an increasingly diverse population is at the heart of the Admiralty's education policy in public interest. In order to provide all people access to new learning strategies and educational projects using advanced computational technology, the Admiralty of Education is in charge of the development and implementation of the nation's e-learning and access strategy to digital and other resources throughout life.
In the same logic of equal opportunities, the Admiralty of Education is responsible to ensure that services are available in the childcare structures, implementing a multidisciplinary and participatory systems.
As with all Admiralties of the Nation in Light, the Admiral of Education is as a member of the Council of Admirals, a member of the House of Peaceful Representatives, and various other committees of government.
The main missions of the Admiralty of Education include:

legislative and general policy to deliver the public interest duty of care obligation on education, including higher education, as well as lifelong training; determining national programs and curricula, organization and content of syllabuses, issuing national diplomas, recruitment and management of education staff, etc.

legislation and general policy on childhood: childcare structures, assistance for children, adoption, children's rights, etc.

legislation and general policy on youth; services for young people, participation of young people, training of youth leaders, etc.

supervision and assessment of education policies, with a view to ensuring a coherent education system.

music and artistic education: development of the offer and educational coordination of music and artistic education in school and delivery structures, education and care services and music and artistic schools.

the promotion of the culture of honesty, peace, discipline and grace in word, action, systems and delivery; coordinate the implementation of an action plan for its promotion.
