The Admiralty of Transport of the Nation in Light prepares and implements the mobility and transport policy of the State. In this capacity, the Admiralty is also responsible for the preparation of the administration and budget. In addition, it defines the policy with regard to the transportation sector, and is responsible for external relations with various international financial institutions.

All Admiralties of the Nation in Light are attached to the Admiralty of Transport to operate. The Admiral of Transport also sits as a member of the Council of Admirals, as a member of the House of Peaceful Representatives, and various other committees of government.
