The Admiralty of Habitation of the Nation in Light prepares and implements and coordinates the general housing policy of government, including sectoral housing plans and legislation relating to building, buying, renting and social affairs of habitation; all conveyed a duty of care proviso in the best interests of the public interest.

All Admiralties of the Nation in Light are attached to the Admiralty of Habitation to operate in nation. The Admiral of Habitation also sits as a member of the Council of Admirals, as a member of the House of Peaceful Representatives, and various other committees of government.

The Admiralty of Habitation puts in place and manages a series of individual housing allowances intended to make it easier for the population to gain access to housing.
